Description:
• ACA (or equivalent) or CTA qualified tax professional
• At least 5 year previous experience in Tax Accounting with focus on EXCISE TAX, DESIGNATED ZONE and VAT, preferred in TOBACCO INDUSTRY
• Qualified Tax Professional (ACA, CTA, ATT, CIMA)
• Strong computer skills and functionality with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Tasks:
• Preparing and filing of Excise Tax returns, Designated Zone required reporting and filing, VAT return filing
• Finalization of Books of Accounts and Preparation of financial reports on monthly basis
• Preparation of Monthly Cash Flow Statements.
• Budget Preparation, monitoring budgets and variance analysis
• LC Preparation and Export documents submission in bank Skills
• Liaison with Banks regarding LC, TT payments and other day today banking activities
• Local Suppliers Invoice verification and entering in Accounting
• Financial Statement Analysis
• Making payment to Local Suppliers and Foreign supplier as per due date
• Reconciliation of Ledger and bank accounts Monthly Reporting
• Petty cash maintaining
• Employees payroll preparation through WPS
• Employees Leave salary and Final settlements preparation Financial Planning
• Maintaining prepaid, Fixed Asset depreciation and provision schedules
• Entering monthly closing entries
• Coordinating with Sales, Purchase, Logistics and other
Entering Store Issue Voucher, Entering Store receipt voucher and Delivery voucher
• Entering Manufacturing Journal with standard consumption and material return voucher
• Making MIS report about favorable and unfavorable material consumption
• Monitoring reorder level and Coordinate with production and purchase team
• Co-coordinating with logistics team about timely shipment of materials
